Anya Petrov

Anya co-founded VendKeys.com after a decade-long career in crypto-fintech compliance and digital payments operations. She designed the marketplace's payment infrastructure to be privacy-respecting, crypto-first, and operationally simple — three principles she found rarely combined in existing software stores.

Before VendKeys.com, Anya served as a compliance officer at a major European cryptocurrency exchange, where she worked on cross-border payment flows, AML frameworks for digital goods, and the operational realities of accepting Bitcoin, USDT, Monero, and other cryptos at scale. Her work there made her acutely aware of how poorly traditional payment processors handle digital-only marketplaces — and why crypto rails are uniquely well-suited for software purchases.

At VendKeys.com, Anya leads operations: payment processing, fulfillment workflows, customer support, and the day-to-day reliability of the platform. She also co-edits the crypto-payments cluster of articles with Sofia Marquez.
