Our refund promise

If a license you purchase from VendKeys.com fails to activate or is otherwise non-functional, we will refund or replace it within 24 hours of your report. No restocking fees. No "send us screenshots from three angles" theater. Just a quick email and we make it right.

What qualifies for a refund

You are eligible for a full refund (or a free replacement at your choice) if any of the following is true within 24 hours of your purchase:

  • The license code is invalid, already used, or rejected by the publisher
  • The subscription account credentials do not log in
  • The product was delivered for the wrong region or platform compared to what you ordered
  • The product was advertised as in stock but cannot be delivered

What does not qualify

We are unable to refund if:

  • More than 24 hours have passed since order delivery, AND the license has already been activated successfully
  • The license was activated, then the publisher banned the account or revoked the key for reasons unrelated to our delivery (publisher bans for terms-of-service violations are governed by the publisher, not us)
  • You changed your mind after activation
  • You activated the license on the wrong machine and the publisher refuses re-activation (most publishers allow re-activation; contact the publisher first)
  • You purchased the wrong product (e.g. ordered Office Home & Business when you needed Pro Plus). In this case we may offer store credit instead of a cash refund

How to request a refund

Refund requests are handled by a human via email β€” there is no automated refund button. This is intentional: a quick exchange usually resolves activation issues without a refund.

  1. Send a message via our contact form β€” typical reply within hours
  2. Provide your order number (visible in your account at /account/orders or in the delivery email)
  3. Describe what failed β€” the exact error message helps us help you faster
  4. We will either resolve the issue immediately, send a replacement license, or process a refund

How refunds are paid

Cryptocurrency refunds are returned to the wallet you used at checkout. Card refunds (via Card2Crypto) are returned to the original card. Refunds are processed within 24 hours of approval; cryptocurrency refunds confirm based on network conditions (typically minutes for Lightning, 30 minutes for on-chain Bitcoin).

Partial refunds

If only a subset of items in a multi-item order failed, we refund only those items, not the entire order.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback before contacting our support team will result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of any remaining balance, in addition to delaying the actual resolution. Always contact us first β€” we are faster and friendlier than your card issuer.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any statutory consumer protection rights you may have under your local law. EU consumers retain the rights granted by Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (the 14-day withdrawal period typically does NOT apply to digital content delivered with consent β€” see Article 16(m) β€” but we voluntarily exceed this baseline for license-failure cases).

Updates

We may update this Refund Policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change. Existing orders are governed by the policy that was in effect at the time of purchase.
